The scariest thing happened to me last night.

My date, who I thought was a really nice guy, tried to force himself on me. In his car. Outside of my apartment. I fell out of the car after I finally got my hand on the door-lever and fell onto the pavement.

Now I have scraps on her arm and shoulder.

I have no idea what to think.

He was charming, handsome, well-dressed, open-minded, and... apparently a rapist.

We were just talking and he invited himself in several times and I said no, of course. After a while, he got angry and just... grabbed me. I've never been so scared.

Now he's calling my cell phone almost non-stop.

So today I had double clinic duty and I met this really nice, handsome guy. He asked me out and for the first time in a long time I said yes without thinking about the consequences. He's picking me up tomorrow night at 8:30.

I've had a really short fuse lately.

Chase and I slept together again and again I was feeling vulnerable and he made me feel safe. He always makes me feel safe, even when he's being rude, which he hasn't been lately.

Sometimes I wish I didn't seduce him everytime I had the chance, but something about him is just irresistable.

I can't believe I seduced him again.

I really need to get my hormones in check.

So that's why my fuse is short. Chase is glaring at me from across the room and acting really uptight, even more so than usual.

Then House calls me over and I just snapped, complete with shouting.

Chase found these two positively adorable kittens! Well, technically he found three and kept one, but he gave me two. We went to PetSmart and filled up on cat supplies yesterday!

This is Furbz. I think she has a slight upper respiratory infection. I'm going to bring her to the office with me and run her to the vet during my lunch hour.

And this is the other one. I can't think of a name for her. What do you guys think?

In other news, I met the new girl--Wilson's new duckling. She was nice.

I don't remember ever being this embarrassed.

Except that time I was caught masturbating in college.

Another double shift followed by clinic in the morning. It's probably strange that I get psyched about such long hours. Good thing I love my job.

I'm thinking of adopting a pet. Lots to consider, though, but being alone at home all the time really sucks.
